  • Amazon Free audiobooks on Kindle unlimited

To find books with audio narration on Kindle Unlimited, you can:

    • Look for the headphones icon
    • Next to the Kindle Unlimited logo on each book, you can find an icon that looks like headphones. This indicates that the book has audio narration available.
    • Check for the “Read and listen for free” button
    • Next to the title of a Kindle Unlimited book, you can find a button that says “Read and listen for free”. This indicates that the Audible companion is free. If the button only says “Read for Free”, then the Audible narration is not free, but it may be available at a discount with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.
    • Browse the “Books with Narration in Kindle Unlimited” page
    • You can visit this page on the Amazon website to browse all audiobooks that are free with Kindle Unlimited.
    • Use the Kindle app
    • You can use the Kindle app on iOS and Android phones and tablets, Fire tablets, and Alexa devices.

Please note, the Assistive Reader supports books that are:

    • Purchased from the Kindle store; or

    • Shared with you in your Family Library.

Books must also be available in a language supported by your device’s Text-to-Speech engine.

  • Amazon – How to register Kindle

Usually, when you first turn on a new Kindle or one that has been reset, you’ll see a setup screen. You’ll then be prompted to select your language and connect to a Wi-Fi network. After connecting to Wi-Fi, you’ll see a screen asking you to register your Kindle.

On this screen, you should see an option that says something like “I have a registration code” or “Enter a registration code.” Tap on this option. You’ll then be prompted to enter your registration code. This is where you input the code.

After entering the code, you’ll likely be asked to sign in with your Amazon account or create a new one if you don’t have one. Your Amazon account password comes into play only after the registration code has been entered and accepted.

You can also register a Kindle and enter a code by going to amazon.com/code and then entering the 6-digit verification code you received.
