Use your mouse or keyboard to play.

Dominic Szablewski is an engineer, game developer and hacker who has released projects such as Voidcall, Quake VR, and Q1K3 which is a 13 kilobyte version of Quake written in JavaScript.

Xibalba , roughly translated as “place of fright”, is the name of the underworld  in Maya mythology, ruled by the Maya death gods and their helpers. In 16th-century Verapaz, the entrance to Xibalba was traditionally held to be a cave in the vicinity of Cobán, Guatemala. Cave systems in nearby Belize have also been referred to as the entrance to Xibalba. In some Maya areas, the Milky Way is viewed as the road to Xibalba.

Xibalba is described in the Popol Vuh as a court below the surface of the Earth associated with death and with twelve gods or powerful rulers known as the Lords of Xibalba. The first among the Maya death gods ruling Xibalba were Hun-Came (“One Death”) and Vucub-Came (“Seven Death”), though Hun-Came is the senior of the two.

The remaining ten Lords are often referred to as demons and are given commission and domain over various forms of human suffering: to cause sickness, starvation, fear, destitution, pain, and ultimately death. These Lords all work in pairs: Xiquiripat (“Flying Scab”) and Cuchumaquic (“Gathered Blood”), who sicken people’s blood; Ahalpuh (“Pus Demon”) and Ahalgana (“Jaundice Demon”), who cause people’s bodies to swell up; Chamiabac (“Bone Staff”) and Chamiaholom (“Skull Staff”), who turn dead bodies into skeletons; Ahalmez (“Sweepings Demon”) and Ahaltocob (“Stabbing Demon”), who hide in the unswept areas of people’s houses and stab them to death; and Xic (“Wing”) and Patan (“Packstrap”), who cause people to die coughing up blood while out walking on a road. The remaining residents of Xibalba are thought to have fallen under the dominion of one of these Lords, going about the face of the Earth to carry out their listed duties.

  • Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is a 2012 endless runner mobile game which is co-developed by Kiloo and SYBO Games, private companies based in Denmark. It is available on iOS, Android, HarmonyOS, Amazon Fire Tablet, and Windows Phone platforms and uses the Unity game engine. In the game, players take the role of young graffiti artists, led by Jake who, upon being caught in the act of tagging a metro railway site, run through the railroad tracks to escape from the inspector and his dog. As they run, they grab gold coins, power-ups, and many other items while simultaneously dodging collisions with trains and other objects. They can also jump on top of the trains and surf with hoverboards to evade capture until the character crashes into an obstacle, gets caught by the inspector, or gets hit by a train, at which point the game ends. Special events, such as the Season Hunt and others, including the game’s birthday events, the Super Runner Challenge and Rivals Challenge, can result in in-game rewards and characters. Also with points and keys they can buy different outfits and characters.

Subway Surfers is an endless runner video game. The game starts by tapping the screen, while Jake (the game’s main character) or any other character sprays graffiti on a subway, and gets caught in the act by the inspector and his dog, who starts chasing the character. While running, the player can swipe up, down, left, or right to avoid crashing into oncoming obstacles especially moving trains, poles, tunnel walls, and barriers. By swiping rapidly as speed increases, more points can be acquired. A crash results in a game over, but the player can revive and continue by using keys or watching an ad. The player can collect various items such as coins, keys, x2 multipliers, super sneakers, jetpacks, magnets, mystery boxes, and pogo sticks. A pogo stick provides combustion by launching up the character, a jetpack gives the ability to fly, a coin magnet attracts coins on the track, super sneakers give the ability to jump higher, and a x2 multiplier multiplies the rate at which the score counts. Items, such as a hoverboard (which could be used by double-tapping on the screen), allow the character to avoid collisions and last about 30 seconds.

Daily Challenges and Season Hunts give rewards for unique movements throughout gameplay. In daily challenges, the player needs to collect letters that constitute a word related to the game, such as “score” and “jump”; also known as “word hunt”. Missions have various tasks measured by player accuracy. Up to 18 characters can be unlocked using coins, keys, in-game purchases, collecting specific items, or connecting to a Facebook account. Most characters have up to 2 different outfits. Meanwhile, up to 17 hoverboards can be unlocked with the same methods. Each has different abilities that can assist the player. When the game updates to a new location, a new character, and hoverboard will be available temporarily until the next update.

  • Stupid Zombies

Describing or relating to the situation after the destruction of the world, or to an extremely bad situation in which it seems as if the world has been destroyed: The landscape resembles a scene from a post-apocalyptic disaster movie.

    Game Description

Stupid Zombies is a shooting puzzle game. If you like physics, like shooting, like puzzles, and hate zombies then this is the perfect game for you. In Stupid Zombies, you are a shotgun-wielding hero named Soot who is humanity’s last chance against the invading hordes of Zombies. Soot stands alone against the endless tides of zombies and has very limited ammo to actually take them down. In order to effectively stop the phalanx of zombie infantry, Soot will need your help to maximize every last bullet and make sure he can rank up multiple hits with only one shot.

In order to optimize your limited supply of ammunition, you’ll have to use the mysterious magic of physics in order to bounce, ricochet and deflect each shot so that it maximizes itself to the fullest and takes out as many Stupid Zombies as possible. Aim at the walls, aim at the floor, aim at the ceiling. Blow up gasoline-filled barrels to destroy multiple zombies at once and get the hard to reach critters by blasting a brick at them.  This is the Zombie apocalypse and Soot needs your help to save the world. Are you up for it?

    Instructions

Use your mouse to aim the reticule at either the zombies or the walls, and objectss throughout the level which might riccochet the bullet to where you want it to go. Conserve ammo and stop the zombie invasion.

  • Slaughterhouse Escape Deluxe

Our Little Lovely Pig Pocco is about to be bacon! Help him avoid certain (but delicious) death on the slaughterhouse floor: Use power-ups, collect golden apples, and customize Little Pig to make his very short life a happy one. You’re his last hope if he’s going to escape the slaughterhouse!

    Instructions

Use your mouse or keyboard to play.

In livestock agriculture and the meat industry, a slaughterhouse, also called an abattoir  is a facility where livestock animals are slaughtered to provide food. Slaughterhouses supply meat, which then becomes the responsibility of a meat-packing facility.

Slaughterhouses that produce meat that is not intended for human consumption are sometimes referred to as knacker’s yards or knackeries. This is where animals are slaughtered that are not fit for human consumption or that can no longer work on a farm, such as retired work horses.

Slaughtering animals on a large scale poses significant issues in terms of logistics, animal welfare, and the environment, and the process must meet public health requirements. Due to public aversion in different cultures, determining where to build slaughterhouses is also a matter of some consideration.

Frequently, animal rights groups raise concerns about the methods of transport to and from slaughterhouses, preparation prior to slaughter, animal herding, stunning methods, and the killing itself.

Until modern times, the slaughter of animals generally took place in a haphazard and unregulated manner in diverse places. Early maps of London show numerous stockyards in the periphery of the city, where slaughter occurred in the open air or under cover such as wet markets. A term for such open-air slaughterhouses was shambles, and there are streets named “The Shambles” in some English and Irish towns (e.g., Worcester, York, Bandon) which got their name from having been the site on which butchers killed and prepared animals for consumption. Fishamble Street, Dublin, was formerly a fish-shambles. Sheffield had 183 slaughterhouses in 1910, and it was estimated that there were 20,000 in England and Wales.

Most countries have laws in regard to the treatment of animals in slaughterhouses. In the United States, there is the Humane Slaughter Act of 1958, a law requiring that all swine, sheep, cattle, and horses be stunned unconscious with application of a stunning device by a trained person before being hoisted up on the line. There is some debate over the enforcement of this act. This act, like those in many countries, exempts slaughter in accordance to religious law, such as kosher shechita  and dhabiha halal. Most strict interpretations of kashrut require that the animal be fully sensible when its carotid artery is cut.

The novel The Jungle presented a fictionalized account of unsanitary conditions in slaughterhouses and the meatpacking industry during the 1800s. This led directly to an investigation commissioned directly by President Theodore Roosevelt, and to the passage of the Meat Inspection Act and the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, which established the Food and Drug Administration. A much larger body of regulation deals with the public health and worker safety regulation and inspection.

  • Plants VS Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies is a 2009 tower defense video game developed and published by PopCap Games. First released for Windows and Mac OS X, the game has since been ported to consoles, handhelds, and mobile devices. The player takes the role of a homeowner amid a zombie apocalypse. As a horde of zombies approaches along several parallel lanes, the player must defend their home by placing plants, which fire projectiles at the zombies, otherwise detrimentally affect them, or aid the player. The player collects a currency called sun to buy plants. If a zombie happens to make it to the house on any lane, the player loses the level.

Plants vs. Zombies was designed by George Fan, who conceptualized it as a more defense-oriented sequel to his fish simulator game Insaniquarium (2001), then developed it into a tower defense game featuring plants fighting against zombies. The game took inspiration from the games Magic: The Gathering and Warcraft III; along with the movie Swiss Family Robinson. Its development spanned three and a half years. Rich Werner was the main artist, Tod Semple served as programmer, and Laura Shigihara composed the game’s music. In order to appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers, the tutorial was designed to be simple and spread throughout Plants vs. Zombies.

Plants vs. Zombies was positively received by critics, was nominated for multiple awards, including “Download Game of the Year” and “Strategy Game of the Year” as part of the Golden Joystick Awards 2010, and has since been considered one of the greatest video games of all time. Reviewers praised the game’s humorous art style, simplistic but engaging gameplay, and soundtrack. Upon release, it was the fastest-selling video game developed by PopCap Games and quickly became their best-selling game, surpassing Bejeweled and Peggle. In 2011, PopCap was bought by Electronic Arts (EA). The company laid off Fan and 49 other employees, marking a change of focus to mobile and social gaming. After the buyout, Plants vs. Zombies was followed by a multimedia franchise including two sequels, three third-person shooters, two comic book series, and several spin-off games, most of which have received positive reviews.

To play Plants VS Zombies Online, you’ll need to use the following controls: – Use the mouse to navigate through menus and select plants to place on the grid. – Click on a plant to pick it up, then click on a grid square to place it. – Collect sun icons by clicking on them to gather currency for placing plants. – Use the shovel tool to remove plants if needed for tactical adjustments. – Keep an eye on recharge times to know when you can place new plants. – Strategically place plants to defend your home from waves of zombies on each level. – Utilize the lawnmower as a last resort defense measure if zombies reach the end of a lane. – Adapt your strategies based on the behaviors and vulnerabilities of different zombie types. Have fun playing Plants VS Zombies Online and protect your home from the zombie horde!
